The Double Door 10x15 Epping Shed is a pressure-treated, overlap workshop which is part of The Better Shed range from Forest Garden.
As with all of Forest's Better Sheds, this large Epping Shed features an intelligent modular design. This means the garden workshop is delivered in smaller sections, making it far easier to assemble than other garden sheds. This modular design also results in more extensive 28mm shed framing, ensuring an incredibly robust structure and far greater resistance to warping.
The Epping's walls from 7mm overlap cladding, which allows the natural movement of the timber throughout the changing seasons and aids efficient rainwater run-off. Wherever the panels join together, cover strips are used to ensure the garden building remains weathertight. Pressure-treated and backed by a fantastic 15-year anti-rot guarantee, no further treatment is required, saving both time and money.
A 14mm pressure-treated solid timber floor with bearers not only provides a long-lasting, effective barrier against ground moisture, it allows for the storage of heavier tools and machinery too. The 8mm OSB apex roof comes with a metal truss bracket, for extra strength, and a felt covering.
Easy access to the shed is gained via double doors, which include double-Z framing to prevent them from dropping. Tamper-proof hidden hinges and a hasp and staple plate, designed for a padlock (padlock not included), help keep stored items safe.
Once inside, high eaves offer plenty of headroom and make it easy to store taller items, while 6 PET-glazed windows provide an abundance of natural light. These windows are made from recycled materials, virtually shatterproof and will never discolour or become brittle. They can be fitted either side of the structure, to suit the shed’s place in the garden.
All of the timber is FSC®-certified, which is the only wood certification scheme endorsed by the major environmental charities. Not only robust, weatherproof and ethical, this garden shed’s traditional design, smooth-planed barge boards and finial result in an incredibly attractive appearance.
Fixtures, fittings and clear instructions are included for a simple assembly, although a professional installation service is available to purchase as an optional upgrade.
Delivery is free to most UK addresses.

Wooden Shed Base Kit
As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this shed base is a faster, more cost effective DIY solution.
The wooden shed base consists of a framework that is made from UC4 incised timber which has been pressure treated. The pressure treatment ensures that the framework is robust and is guaranteed to resist rot for an impressive 15 years.
Size of base: 7.5cm (h) x 300.6cm (w) x 442.5cm (d)
Plastic Shed Base Kit
Quick and simple to install, the 10x15 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it provides a very strong and durable base for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, it can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry.
To install the base, simply interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 50mm. This pack contains 70 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane.

"We're proud to be the largest and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of garden timber products in the UK" - Forest Garden
Making British Gardens Great
At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.
With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.
We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.
Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.
(Certification number TT-COC-001790, Issue date 5 March 2015)
Well made in Britain
The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.
All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.
Helping Everyone Thrive
We like to do our bit for charity and are proud to support Thrive. Thrive uses gardening as therapy to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or those who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable.
Covid-19 Special Measures
Protecting the health and wellbeing of all our employees and customers during the COVID-19 virus is paramount. At the present time, we will continue to make deliveries to residential addresses through our home delivery fleet but will be introducing strict precautionary measures that eliminate contact.
If you are expecting one of our installation teams, to protect both yourself and our employees, we would request that you leave clear instructions for them about where you would like the building installed and that you remain within your property while they complete their work. Prior to their arrival, you will be asked to let us have a telephone number, if we don’t already have it, so they can contact you by phone if necessary.
Please be aware that your delivery may take longer than usual. It may also take us a little longer to answer your email or your phone call so please be patient with us during this unprecedented time.
